In addition to music, TV’s, wall ball, jousting, spike ball and other entertainment offerings at the fields, there are numerous family activities in Stowe and the surrounding area. For help finding a fun activity email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event is a “Stay to Play” tournament, which means that ALL teams requiring overnight accommodations MUST secure them through our hotel reservation system, which will ensure avaialiblity and the lowest rates possible for guests.

-Field Marshals & Refs will keep score at every game.
-At the conclusion of the game, the head coaches from both teams are to sign the scorecard at the Field Marshal table confirming the score.
Win = 3 pts
Tie = 1 pt
Loss = 0 pts
For tournament standings, the following sequence will determine tie breaker:
1. Head-to-Head (if only two teams are tied)
2. Most Wins
3. Least Goals Allowed
4. Net Goal Differential (capped at 7 per game)
5. Coin Toss
If there is a tie in the playoffs then a 2 minute sudden death overtime will be used. If still tied, a brave heart will be used.
-Rosters are set for each tournament.
-Teams may not move or transfer players between teams within or outside the club regardless of eligibility.
-Once a player has been assigned and accepted for a particular team, that player may only participate on that team at that specific tournament.
Player(s) may be disqualified for any of the following violations:
-Player not listed on the teams tourney roster
-New players not listed on the teams roster
-Player participating that is too old for division
Disputes of any nature are settled by the Tournament Directors and are final.
RULES GOVERNING PLAYER/TEAM ELIGIBILITY
Only currently registered players on bitterlacrosse.com, for the specific tournament and who agree to the “Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity and Parental Consent AGREEMENT,” may participate in tournament games. Bitterlacrosse.com will notify a coach (or parent of a Free Agent player) if a player did not agree to the “Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity and Parental Consent AGREEMENT.”
-No team will receive a full refund.
-Bitterlacrosse.com will refund all but 25% for any team that registers and withdraws from the tournament more than 60 days prior to the tournament
-No refund of any kind for any team that registers and withdraws whithin 60 days or less prior to the tournament
-Partial refunds of 25% will be issued if the tournament is cancelled or shortened in part for any reason, including inclement weather or any other "Act of God."
-If the tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other "Act of God" teams will have the option of receiving a credit towards registration for any other Bitter Lacrosse tournament in the following 14 month period.
In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the tournament director reserves the right to:
-Reduce game times in order to catch up with schedule
-Finish games before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve field conditions
-Reschedule games, if possible
-Convert tournament to a festival format without playoffs or championships to provide the majority of teams the opportunity to play as many games as possible.
Every attempt will be made to update cancellations on the website. However, weather conditions can change rapidly and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as weather and fields are playable.
The directors of Bitter Lacrosse, LLC reserve the right to cancel, shorten, or reschedule tournament games due to inclement weather, poor field conditions, or player and fan safety concerns. No refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary. Field directors will communicate game changes. Schedule changes will be available at the Bitter Lacrosse field tent and on the event website.
If thunder or lightning is observed, the tournament director and medical staff will suspend play immediately and players and fans will be asked to leave the fields. Play will be allowed to resume 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder or sighting of lightning is observed which will be determined by the tournament director and medical staff. Every attempt will be made to begin subsequent games on time. Subsequent games will begin immediately after preceding games. These games may consist of one 30 minute running time period until games are back on schedule. Once games are back on schedule they will revert to “normal” tournament game time procedures.
